My name is Nicola and I have worked as a pastry chef for the last 21 years.
I did my training though the Sandton Sun for 5 years and then moved to Fancourt in George
to open their bakery department.
I came back to JHB with the opening of the Michelangelo Hotel to run their pastry department.
I spent some time overseas to gain experience and worked at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London.
Coming back to South Africa I did outside catering: with Sinclair's and Late Harvest Caterers.
From there I moved to Kees Beyers Chocolate to run their bakery department. (We supplied Woolworths, M&S, Clicks and Checkers).
In 2008 I decided to start my own business making wedding cakes, birthday cakes, savouries and sweet platters in Gauteng.
